After the logo meeting the group had, we decided on a few ideas for the logo. We cancelled the ideas down to the logo design everyone likes. While we were deciding on this; I began starting on the next section to research. This was the booklet. I think this was the one part I would put myself forward for and would be happy to begin designing it. This is because; I started to research different booklets and came up with a wide range of ideas. The main focus I understood was that the booklet was supposed to be in the style of a yearbook. I saw a yearbook from another football team and understood the different parts and pages that would be ideal for this.
Firstly, I began noting down the brief and the specific elements the client wanted. This is what I came up with.

This is summary of the different elements of what the booklet should contain. For example, 32 pages containing a 20 page insert of one template. This is for the individual page fore each player.
This also contains the printing specifications. e.g. 4 colour print
The next set of research I undertook was based on different pages the booklet could contain, I came up with these ideas by looking through year books at the library, my own personal yearbook, online versions of yearbooks and articles about what a yearbook should contain.

These are the inclusions of ideas that could be part of the year book. For example, a page of awards, quotes and team sayings, chants, match of the year and so on…
I think these are really important when creating year book as they create a sense of togetherness within the team. I would love to create this section of the brief as I am really interested in it and understand the important of a yearbooks memoir.
