When creating my moodboard for Ambleside, I decided to take pictures from their website but also google search. This was because the images on the webpage are professionally taken and the ones on google search could be taken from parents or the audience. I then swatched all the images in order to create a palette to have something to refer back to. When completing the typography brief, i understood how important having a moodboard is. This is because it not only is research for the project but is also a great source for reference. If I began to struggle with some inspiration during the project, I could refer back to this moodboard for some ideas and inspiration. The positive of having this and not just googling my ideas if i’m stuck, but it means my work is all based of similar research. Therefore, my work is more cohesive and is held together by the glue of my moodboard research. A google definition of a moodboard is a way to collect different creative information in order to prepare for a new project. It is a segue between initial thoughts or meeting and the first draft of your project. Yet it is also great for referencing back throughout the journey of finalising a piece.

This moodboard will be very helpful for when I can create work for this project. This is because each image holds different information and clues that will lead and direct me towards a great piece of finalised work. For example, we can see that the existing brand uses stripes on their football kit, which can further be used somewhere in my work.
