The next week after meeting with the group, we had more problems with the brief and client. Our lecturer misplaced the brief and therefore we were not actually aware of what we had to do. Our lecturer told us that it was a personal book for Dee Kumari (the client). We then decided to call the client and directly ask her what she wanted. One thing I learnt because of this was that it was unprofessional. To make the client send a brief, then claim we never got it just to make her explain it all over again. After we met with Dee, we understood what she wanted and we began researching. I started off with creating a moodboard of Accords branding style, previous booklets and other helpful things I could refer back to.

I found a style of colour choice, shapes, typeface and specific ways that Accord tend to layer their work. This was really helpful, I always think mood boards are helpful as they are something you can refer back to when you are stuff for ideas and just to ensure your work is all similar and matches the foundation guidelines.
